Smartsource has an enviable track record of delivering on a retained search basis. We are able to offer more flexible payment schemes than the industry norm , which allow emphasis on the outcome rather than on being paid during the process.
It is normal to suggest a split where third is paid by the client up front to retain the agency , another third is paid when the short listed candidates are delivered, with the final third paid when the successful candidate is selected. Clearly this leaves much of the risk with the client. We believe this is wrong.
Smartsource only asks a quarter of the final fee as the initial retainer and will only invoice the remainder on acceptance. This removes some of the financial risk to the client and focuses Smartsource on delivering the right candidate before being paid in full.
